I love pairing great books with science learning. Dr. Seuss inspired science activities are some of my favorite. Today I’m sharing a fun way to practice graphing with Dr. Seuss stamps. Download the free printable and have a Seusstastic time. Affiliate links are included in this post.
Graphing with Dr. Seuss Stamps
I found the stamp set at the Target dollar spot. If you can’t find the stamps at your Target, you could always use some Dr. Seuss stickers like this Dr. Seuss sticker book from Amazon. I created the graphing printable to be used with either stamps or stickers.
In addition to the stamps and printable, you’ll need 2 dice.
The game is simple. Roll 2 dice. Graph the number rolled by placing stamps in the correct place on the graph. Continue rolling dice and graphing.
The only issue we had was how to graph an odd number. If you’re using stickers, simply cut the sticker in half and fill only half of the square. Since the Dr. Seuss stamps are self-inking, it’s a little trickier. You could place tape over half of the stamp. Then, it will fill only half of the square. If your stamps happen to dry out, just place half of the stamp on the ink pad.
I created this printable as a way to practice graphing with Dr. Seuss stamps as well as to practice counting by 2s. Each stamp represents 2.
Aiden (age 7) didn’t want any of the stamps to have the same number even though he rolled the number 10 several times. I asked him what number he wanted. He said 8. We talked about what numbers needed to be on the dice to make 8. This was a little bonus math practice.

The Cat in the Hat
The Dr. Seuss stamps are from The Cat in the Hat book. Read the book that started the legacy and have fun graphing the characters.
I created a printable to practice counting with the Dr. Seuss stamps, too.
